How Motif uses your data to improve our AI models

This article is about the Help improve our AI models setting in dashboard settings. That setting is the consent switch for training Motif’s own models. What it covers and what turning it off does are in Terms of Service Section 4 and Privacy Policy Section 3.7. Where each source comes from is in Data Sources. Motif does not fine-tune third-party foundation models.

Curation Data you save on a finding (field edits, notes, and votes) is a separate licence under Terms of Service Section 4.4. The dashboard switch does not turn that licence off. An Enterprise Order Form may set allow_correction_license false.

The dashboard switch

On Starter, Pro, and Max each person gets a switch (on by default). It is yours and applies to your work wherever you run it, in any organization you belong to. Other members of your organization answer for themselves.

On Enterprise the same switch is shown but locked to whatever the signed agreement sets for that organization. Members cannot change it in the dashboard.
